Our social science team has finished a first round of community events: 31 March the gathering took place at Suwalki Landscape Park in Poland

25 May at the Odivelas parish community hall in Alentejo, Portugal.

In both events the population had the opportunity to learn about the general goals of SEMACRET and most importantly, about the activities planned in their residency area. The discussion was vivid and both the geoscientist and social scientists were happy to discuss and explain technical issues, impacts and future outcomes of SEMACRET research
